Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars[]

The tripod that belonged to the Knights Templar seen at Musée Crune (also in the manuscript) and the archaeological excavation by Professor Nigel Peagram, leads George Stobbart in search for answers to Lochmarne. A tiny village in Ireland, the Emerald Isle. This is where he obtains a gem identical to one on the manuscript. After facing an infamous goat, George finds an entrance to a Templar chapel beneath the Lochmarne Castle ruins, where he discovers a mural of a hanged man with Montfaucon written underneath.

Trivia[]

  • Buses from Dublin to Lochmarne only have one service per day.
  • The best room you can have at Mac Devitt's is the one with the bed.
  • This is a fictional location. There's no Lochmarne in Ireland. The spelling "Loch" is more typically Scottish; in Ireland a lake or inlet is usually called a "Lough."
